Forties AF is a sexy, sassy, and funny fiction drama podcast about three forty-something single friends who laugh, love and cry together; as they pick up the pieces their thirties left behind. Hope, a newly-forty entertainment magazine reporter by night and aspiring writer by day, finally has to let go of her on and off again boyfriend. Chanise, a postal carrier in her late forties, is a new empty nester and is adjusting to her new-found freedom. Brianna a hopeless romantic in her mid-forties, is a hairstylist at a popular and hip salon and is seeking out her complete happiness. These ladies find out that life truly begins at forty.

Tanisha Quilter-Williams graduated from California State University in 2007 as a Broadcast Journalism major. She went on to work at some of the top companies in Hollywood, ICM, WMA, Inside Edition, E! Entertainment and US Weekly, working in the trenches at some of Hollywood’s top companies has fostered her creativity and introduced her to experiences that allowed her to be successful in many areas. During her time at US Weekly, she played a major part in negotiating the Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin engagement story that ended up being the biggest cover story of the year.  
In 2013, Tanisha left the journalism world behind to pursue her passion for screenwriting. She went back to school to obtain her MFA in Creative Writing and hasn’t looked back. After years of pounding the pavement, in 2021 she turned her drama/comedy pilot “Forties AF,” about three forty-something single friends who pick up the pieces their thirties left behind into a drama fiction podcast. To-date, Forties AF has garnered more than 150,000 downloads with a minimal marketing ad budget. The podcast was chosen to participate in Gotham Pitch Week 2021 and was nominated as Best Fiction Podcast by the Podcast Awards-People’s Choice. She is currently working on Season 3 of Forties AF and creating a writer’s room to give other writers exposure.
